Galata Museo del Mare
Maritime museum + submarine
The Galata Museo del Mare, at the Darsena, is the largest maritime museum in the Mediterranean: inside thereâs a full-scale Genoese galley, a moving section on emigration, and a rooftop terrace over the port.
Right outside, moored in the water, is the submarine Nazario Sauro (S 518) â you can board it and go inside. Itâs also a great rainy-day option. Itâs a ticketed museum.
